Japanese cuisine is centered on the philosophy of ‘sen‘, meaning’ fresh and pure ‘. Sen from Japan attributes the identity of the restaurant to this philosophy and manifests itself in every dish that comes out of its kitchen.

This Marina Bay Sands restaurant instantly became a hit when it opened in 2016, and with no less than chef NOBU Nakano Hiromi at the helm, its success has already almost gone into the stars. Add to that the fact that they offer bonuses Sushi, sashimi, rice bowls and bento sets at prices you wouldn’t expect in such an upscale place.

Strong points

  • Affordable weekday breakfast sets: Take a break from your usual lunch and treat yourself to a weekday decadence. We did say “affordable”, didn’t we? Starting at S $ 19.90 and available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sen of Japan’s weekday lunches include a chef’s appetizer, tempura, salad, miso soup, rice, and dessert.
  • Premium selection of makis: Chef Nakano Hiromi has designed a range inspired by maki, which could very well be the result of fresh ingredients put together. One of the highlights is the Mala Maki (S $ 24), soft shell crab tempura, cucumber, crabmeat, tobiko, flame seared salmon, and spicy mala.
  • One of Singapore’s most comprehensive sake menus: There is no better accompaniment to a Japanese meal than Japanese sake or rice wine. Sen has a long list of sakes with a dry-sweetness guide to help you choose the perfect pairing for your meal.

MENU: Voted Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice 2020, Sen of Japan’s menu celebrates fresh Japanese produce and ingredients in the form of appetizers, soups, salads, tempura, inputs, sashimi and nigiri sushi, maki, and desserts. They also have a full drink menu where you are sure to find the perfect spirit for any celebration.
