Reviews of Hotel Nobu in Santorini, Greece

The service

Surrounded by Mediterranean palm trees and the ocean (a few hundred meters deep), this is the peak of island life in Greece. It can sometimes be more relaxed and casual than you want it to be, but it’s always authentic. Given that it’s the end of their first season, apathy has probably set in and the service will surely be more polished next year.

For families

You can see a lone teenager wandering the grounds with a Macbook in hand, but it’s mostly couples and groups of friends here. They are either loved on their honeymoon, here for a baby moon or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Eco-effort

Limiting your footprint on an island as fast-paced and busy as Santorini is difficult. Small efforts like reusable wooden key cards and glass-only bottles help, but fingers crossed they do away with single-use toiletries bottles, even if they’re made exclusively for Nobu.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility

Steep white stairs, bathroom gates, and stone walkways throughout the property and rooms are not wheelchair accessible.
