Reviews for the W Ibiza Santa Eulalia Beach hotel

W Ibiza brings its unique blend of music, design, cuisine and wellness to the White Island. This summer, W Ibiza reopened with one of Ibiza’s best cocktail bars, the adults-only restaurant Glow on the roof, as well as the restaurant The Lama, for a cuisine that appeals to modern nomads.

It’s time to go back to the Balearics!

Ibiza beckons

Summer means island vacations and right now Ibiza offers the feel-good vibe we all need and want! The W Ibiza is also very welcoming, probably one of the friendliest teams we’ve met on the island. The hotel has a lot to inspire and impress guests for the new season, writes Andrew Forbes (The luxury editor).

We were wowed by the W Ibiza – the cool rooms with sea and pool views, with vintage-style Marshal bluetooth amps, the heady bar in the W Hotels room that always impresses, and the personalized excursions and ideas for guests. welcoming experiences offered by the What / Whenever team.

Glow Rooftop is a new outdoor top-floor pool terrace and cocktail bar with views of the old town and the Mediterranean. Expect the best soundtrack for your sunbathing, pool dives, and cocktails.

Also, new for this summer season, at Wet Deck level, is the new restaurant La Llama, serving elegant breakfasts at the table and in the evening, inspiring international dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients.

W Hotels promises to redefine celebrations for the modern jet set, and certainly seems the ideal destination hotel for Ibiza, with its hip mix of original music with emerging artists, cool design with striking bars and restaurants, and its sociable and enthusiastic culture and its welcoming style.

Moreover, Ibiza is the island’s summer destination par excellence. It offers it all – from top music and club culture to a relaxed, barefoot, bohemian Mediterranean vibe.

The W Ibiza is located on the wide palm-fringed beach of Santa Eulalia. It’s a favorite part of the island, an easy 20 minute transfer from Ibiza Airport on the east coast.

This vibrant community also has a lot of history in Ibiza, with a historic chapel on top of a hill that overlooks the hotel. Santa Eulalia has become the second largest city on the island; yet he has not lost the charm of Ibiza. Here, it’s the perfect balance between vibrant Ibiza and the bohemian island of recent decades. You will also find some of the best and most original fashion and craft stores in this part of the island, as well as some of the most interesting places to eat.

Fuel your vacation

W Hotels is renowned for its Detox-Retox-Repeat mantra, where guests have access to both inspiring wellness and fitness, plus plenty of attractive restaurants and bars for a well-deserved vacation. Here’s our list of the places you need to check out when checking in:

Chiringuito Blue is a short walk from the W Ibiza, directly on the beach. It is the ideal place to discover the superb Mediterranean gastronomy. The menu promises a “journey of flavors”, and they did not disappoint! From the exotic Eastern Mediterranean with savory dips, grilled eggplant and pitta bread, then to southern Spain with crispy fried Andalusian squid, and to the Balearics with a carpaccio of Arenys de Mar red prawns and grilled sea bream charcoal with Ibenco lemon and garlic. Local specialties like octopus, straight from the grill, were excellent. We also found the service to be very friendly and professional. This is a chic beach bar and restaurant with frontline views, a relaxed welcoming atmosphere, and sophisticated island cuisine.

Glow on the roof is the perfect place for sunsets! I just loved it. Look back and take in the view of the island’s pine-covered hills and the 16e century chapel at the top of Puig de Missa; while looking ahead, you have stunning views of Santa Eulalia Bay and the sea. Relax in the adults-only infinity pool or take a nap for lunch on an oversized lounge chair – but whatever you do , don’t miss a sunset cocktail to fuel a memorable night in Ibiza.

Ve Cafe is a chic and trendy promenade cafe right by the beach and promises fresh healthy bites and drinks. Even if you don’t want to stick around for lunch, this is a cool place to grab a tasty and healthy picnic to go for the beach or a hike.

Lounge W is right next to the Wet Deck and is the place to see and see. The quirky design with striking amphitheater-style seating makes it the perfect place to socialize, meet new people, and have a sociable lunch or dinner. It is the hub of W Ibiza.

Wet deck is more than the swimming pool of the W Ibiza, it is the epitome of summer in Ibiza, enjoying the rhythms of the Balearic Islands and excellent cocktails. Cool off with designer pool beds, in the water, or choose a theatrical daybed, with lunch and dinner service. There is direct access to the beach, a short walk away.

The spectacular W Lounge and the Wet Deck are both open to the public, creating a great atmosphere, people enjoy the healthy food menus, delicious snacks and great cocktails. I love mezcal, so my favorite cocktail was the W Ibiza margarita, the Margabiza, made with Olmeca Blanco, Mezcal and agave with local lemons and the Sal de Ibiza – a delight!

Dreams of suites

Comfortable, wonderful, fabulous, wonderful, Wow.

Yes, the room categories sort of sums up what to expect at W Ibiza! From Cozy Rooms (some with private pools), Spectacular Rooms (some with private plunge pools) and Wow Suites, you can expect the magic of W Hotels everywhere. Each of the 162 rooms is Instagram ready.

Our spectacular room was like a suite with its corner position, huge king-size bed, and spectacular terrace terrace with sea view. The in-room bar was superb and we loved the large happiness toiletries .

I also took a look at the EWOW suite which was amazing. Round king bed, cavernous living space and a duplex level with the largest private roof terrace at W Ibiza!

Expect an AWAY spa with massage and treatment rooms and salon and beauty services. There is also a fitness room and you can book yoga classes.

Discover Ibiza

We found Santa Eulalia an ideal base for exploring the island. Las Delias, the famous hippie market, is a short drive away, as is the UNESCO-listed old town of Ibiza, and the legendary Playa d’en Bossa beach clubs.

You can also easily board a fast ferry from Ibiza to the amazing island of Formentera. It will be a memorable day trip – the beaches and crystal clear sea are unforgettable.

But best of all, you can just relax and spend some time at W Ibiza, enjoying the ambience of the hotel. bars and restaurants and the fun of Santa Eulalia. This is the reason for a summer in Ibiza.
