Review of the Patrizia Manias salon | Way of life

The folks at Clapham may already be familiar with Patrizia Manias, as the Milan-based brand’s first London outpost has been open in SW11 for a few years. Now they have become central with a shiny new lounge in Covent Garden. The space is molto elegante, we are talking about polished floors, orange leather armchairs and a sleek black central unit with mirrors rising up from the middle. In fact, if you walked past and couldn’t see someone with leaves, you could easily be mistaken for a gallery or high end furniture store.

It is also safe; Not only is there hand sanitizer at the front desk, you get an extra towel to clean your hands when you are seated and a disposable mask to wear if you do stain so you don’t mess up your reusable.

Patrizia Manias is known for their innovative coloring techniques and although we didn’t want a drastic change we needed to refresh our hair color so we went for a demi-color (between semi-permanent and permanent). Stylist Giorgia absolutely nailed the shade, blending it slightly darker than our natural strands to add depth, and she used a Phillip Martin hair mask while washing to leave our hair super soft and shiny. Several washes later and it still looks so fresh, although the bouncy blow-dry can’t quite be replicated at home.

If the rest of your body needs a bit of TLC, Patrizia Manias can take care of that as well as it offers a range of beauty services including waxing, nails, facials, massages and exclusive T-Shape treatments. Come on, do yourself a favor.
