Salon review

Review of the Hare & Bone trade fair in London

** Tested

by: ** Charlotte Duck, Associate Editor

**The

Salon: ** The Hare & Bone salon in London’s “No-Ho” is

the new kid on the block. It has only been open for 11 months but already

it makes a little noise (he won the Business Newcomer of the

Year and the Salon Design Award at the British Hairdressing

Business Awards wins for Independent Salon earlier this year).

The interior is a monochrome design and elegant interiors that reflect the

the modern and aesthetic atmosphere of the living room.

**The

Treatment: ** A cut and a brushing courtesy of

Award-winning stylist and creative director of H&B, Sam Burnett.

I wanted a drastic change for my curly locks and Sam suggested a

Layered bob to enhance my hair’s natural wave. He used

Kerastase and Kerasilk products to repair the damage I caused to my

braids, then I proceeded to cut my thick mane into some sort of

order.

The verdict: Having had a lot of good (and bad) cuts over the years, I have become a master at spotting a really good cut and that’s exactly what I got. My new bob is both different and manageable, and works great with my natural curl. Highly recommended.

Hare & Bone, 69 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W7PU. Book on 020 7401 2413 or visit www.hareandbone.co.uk. Prices for a cut and blow-dry start at £ 48.
