Hotel owners have been held more accountable in this age of Yelp reviews, but there’s one man they fear even more: Geno Bonnalie.
The PGA Tour caddy makes a habit of posting hilarious hotel review videos ahead of major championships. Well, they’re hilarious to anyone not directly involved with these establishments.
In September, Bonnalie went viral when she peeked into her ramshackle motel room in Mamaroneck, NY, for the US Open. And on Monday, he revealed that this week’s digs in Charleston for the PGA Championship were better. Then again, he could have built a lean-to with sticks and it would have been better than this dump.
Still, this one has a few highlights, like the dual phones (“You probably need one to call 911 at some point tonight,” a desk in the middle of the kitchen, and a disgusting air conditioning/filtration unit that Geno managed to put a “The more clogged up it is, the harder it is for anything to get through it,” says Joel Dahmen’s looper. “So we’re getting really clean air with this filter.”
Take a look at the piece where it ends up giving an “A+ for value”:
Good product. But Bonnalie may wish to pay more than $49.99 to be closer to Kiawah’s ocean course when he finds out how bad traffic can be from Charleston to the island. Good luck Geno.
