Nobu Ibiza Ibiza Bay Hotel Reviews

Each of the Balearic Islands has its own captivating identity, and Ibiza is an island that sparkles with an alluring mix of boho chic, club vibrancy, and upscale luxury. Nobu Ibiza Bay Hotel, near Ibiza Town, is the lifestyle resort that promises you a bit of everything, from Nobu gastronomy, cocktails by the pool, Balearic rhythms as well as organized wellness experiences and nourishing.

Bay of Nobu Ibiza amplifies the pleasures of Ibiza and allows an unforgettable getaway. Everything is here ; island relaxation with Instagram-worthy oceanfront pools and beachside lounge chairs; a dedicated family pool, as well as a kids’ club with certified childminders; fine dining that includes the only Nobu restaurant in the Balearics, Dania Garcia’s ‘Say BiBo’ summer pop-up, and Mediterranean flavors at the hotel’s Chambao restaurant – oh and a lively bar scene too. Expect superb wellness facilities too, with the Spa by Six Senses, a new gym and a wellness area dedicated to meditation, yoga and more. There is even a John Frieda lounge. Despite the temptations not to leave the resort, Talamanca Bay has some lovely Spanish restaurants and bars, and one is so close to all the fun (and history) of Ibiza Town, writes Andrew Forbes (The luxury editor).

We started our days in Ibiza as a chiringuito chambao by the boho beach all day. Fresh delicacies including handmade juices and smoothies, local and exotic fruits, pastries, cold cuts, local and international cheeses and elegantly prepared hot dishes. What a great way to wake up. Shaded by umbrellas, feet in the sand – perfect

Happiness at the beach and by the pool

Holidays are all about relaxing, and Nobu Ibiza Bay has created beautiful areas to relax. The family pool is just as impressive as the adult pool – both with daybeds and lounge chairs, and the attentive service from the team – cocktails include light creations ideal for drinking during the day. The best thing? You can order lunch from Nobu and have it delivered to your deckchair. How forgiving is it?

The absolute highlight of our stay was a meal at the Nobu Ibiza restaurant. It was exceptional. Chef Giacomo Notarbartolo has created a unique Nobu experience by adding truly original and delicious dishes to the Nobu menu. Each dish celebrates not only the unique style we love about Nobu, but also the exceptional local produce of Ibiza, including world-class seafood. Open for lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunch.

Say BiBo

Michelin-starred chef Dani Garcia has brought his famous BiBo restaurant for the summer. The new Say BiBo pop-up offers iconic dishes from the BiBo menu, such as whole fried marinated sea bass. In addition, new and exclusive to BiBo Ibiza Bay is a menu of tapas dishes with a Mexican influence, co-designed by chef Abril Chamorra, including freshly caught red Aguachile prawns. The BiBo Ibiza Bay menu guarantees bold new flavor combinations, inspired by Garcia’s international travels.

I was blown away by the quality of the menu. In addition, the setting, on the terrace overlooking the bay is superb, the service excellent. Expect fresh, bold dishes that truly impress.

Well-being and beyond

More than ever, we take our health seriously. We might want to treat ourselves on vacation, but that doesn’t mean we can’t feed ourselves too. From yoga and free workouts to private gym trainers, Nobu Ibiza Bay has everything you need to keep you looking your best. The island is also beautiful, with wonderful hiking trails through pine forests and hidden coves that you can discover and explore with the hotel guide.

In addition, Nobu Ibiza Bay has partnered with Gecko Hotel and Beach Club de Formentera, both members of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, to offer travelers an exclusive experience to discover the best of both islands. The package allows guests to immerse themselves in two of the Mediterranean’s most desirable destinations with eco-friendly luxury transfers in between.

The rooms and suites have an alluring Mediterranean style, with a beautiful use of natural materials and luxurious details. The hotel offers exceptional suites, from garden suites with private plunge pools to rooftop duplexes.

Standard Rooms are compact, but still have the Nobu style you’ll love.
