Recently I had the opportunity to travel to New York for a few days, and as always, it was awesome! I haven’t traveled to New York in about three years, so it was nice to be back in this bustling city.
During my stay I stayed in one of my favorite hotels in New York, Conrad New York Downtown, located in New York’s Battery Park City (lower Manhattan). I have stayed here once before, during fashion week, and I like it! It’s not only luxurious, but it has to be the most comfortable and pleasant hotel I’ve ever stayed in in New York. And that says a lot!
MY EXPERIENCE
From start to finish, I enjoyed my stay for several reasons. First of all, the Conrad New York Hotel is very luxurious and beautiful, it is in a quieter part of New York but still surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Also, the staff and service are always top notch, and they make you feel very welcome and comfortable.

Most importantly, I felt super safe; they have implemented new COVID-19 protocols throughout the hotel, including physical distancing, mandatory masks, hand sanitizers, physical barriers placed at reception and concierge, and room and hotel as a whole are immaculate.
Room:
Another reason I like this hotel so much is that they only offer suite type rooms, so unlike any other hotel in New York, their rooms are very spacious!

I stayed in their Hudson River view with a sleeper sofa. Not only is this room spacious, but you have a filtered water station, a full-size bathroom and shower, a comfortable king-size bed with stunning views of the Hudson River and the New Jersey skyline!

The room also had two televisions and a minibar. Also, for your information, you can request a mini fridge and microwave, if needed.
Catering at the hotel and cocktails:
The Conrad New York Downtown offers a few dining options, including in-room dining.
ATRIO
The ATRIO Wine Bar & Restaurant serves seasonally inspired New American cuisine. Unfortunately, during the time I visited, the Atrio was temporarily closed. However, I had the opportunity to try it when I stayed with them the first timeand it’s worth the detour!
In-room dining is available for breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and all-day dining from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Show more information here.

The Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar is located on the 16th floor of the Conrad New York Downtown and overlooks the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. Conrad New York Downtown is definitely my go-to every time I’m in NEW YORK! I can’t get enough of this place; From the very accommodating staff, the beautiful and breathtaking ambience, the luxurious amenities and the top notch service, I highly recommend this hotel!
