Duck & Pluck Salon Review | Style

You can now do your eyebrows and eyelashes at the same time as your brushing because the Mayfair branch of Duck & Dry has launched Duck & Pluck. The eyebrow and eyelash bar offers a range of threading and dyeing services, meaning you can get all of the multiple treatments under one roof rather than driving across town to different salons. Anything that saves us time in beauty care is fine with us.

The Duck & Pluck bar is at the back of the lounge, and with straw lamps, a stone bar and bright yellow chairs, it is very much in line with the insta-worthy interiors for which Duck & Dry has become. known. And you can enjoy the prosecco bar as well, although we limited ourselves to the cafe on our 10 hour tour. For the shape and shade of our eyebrows, the technician first started with the color (she prefers to do this to avoid applying the shade to open pores), then cleaned the shape with a quick threading. She finished by massaging a bit of cream into the skin around the eyebrows, which really eased the irritation from the threading.

The brow shape and shade package is £ 30, so it’s on the more expensive end of the spectrum (it’s Mayfair after all), but we’ll say it’s probably the best our brows have been. Hang in there if you can’t make it to Mayfair, as the Duck & Pluck concept is set to roll out to other lounges soon.
