Wii U Firmare Update Requires Another 593MB, Looks to Boost Sluggish OS

Another Wii U firmware update is ready to download, topping up the previous 1.5GB update needed on launch day. The 593MB of patchwork didn’t have any released notes as to why they require more of your prized memory but users have seen that the load times have improved, primarily the launch up screen of MiiVerse.
Wii U’s version 2.1.0 U update offers “further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments… to enhance the user experience,” Nintendo says.
This is in addition to the launch day goodness that patch brought over though we’re sure there’s more to it than meets the eye. Say like an update also for the 3DS and some form of feature that links the 2 Nintendo systems? Another Nintendo Direct conference is live later today so all will be revealed – until then, if you’ve noticed any new features or improvements with the next-gen console, sound off in the comments below.
