UK Top 20 Charts: Sniper Elite V2 Takes The Top on Debut
A late one this week but you’ll find that at the top of the charts is 505 Games & Mastertronic’s Sniper Elite V2, taking the top spot with it’s debut. It’s bullet slow-mo makes long-distance and headshots all the more satisfying in this WWII era FPS. Prototype 2 therefore takes the runner-up spot after it’s debut at the top last week. EA then holds the next 4 spots with FIFA 12 rallying the titles and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 rounding of EA’s crop at number 6. Kinect Star Wars is using it’s Jedi powers to keep in the Top 10 at number 7 whilst EA’s Battlefield 3 pips Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at number 9.
SSX is the biggest dropper by a huge margin, all the way down at number 17 whilst Skylander: Spyro’s Adventure continues it’s chart run at number 14. Gran Turismo 5 enters from outside the Top 20 to position itself at number 19 whilst UFC: Undisputed 3 closes the Top 20. Sadly, The newest title for Sony’s PS Vita is Mortal Kombat which comes in at number 33, speaking volumes.
