UK Charts: FIFA 13 Leads The Chart, First Week of 2013

It’s the start of a new year and what better way to start the year then to have your game lead the charts. That’s exactly what happened to EA as consumers rekindled their love for football and helped FIFA 13 take the top spot for a 5th time. The game has yet to place outside of the top 3 since it launched 15 weeks ago.
That meant Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 slotted into 2nd whilst Call of DUty: Black Ops II held on to the third spot. Hitman: Absolution tayed at 4th after the price promotion helped seal it’s place and EA’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted also holding after a price promotion. Halo 4 shoots up one place to enter the year at sixth whilst Just Dance 4, Forza Horizon and LEGO Lord of the Rings took 7th, 8th and 9th respectively.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim jumped up 2 places to finish at 10th, with the latest Dragonborn DLC playing a part to it’s rise in sales. Check out the full top 20 titles below.
