The Classics #8: Pac-Man World A Celebration To Remember

Pac-man World

A little late due to the weekend preparations of E3 but there’s no forgetting our beloved Classic #8 – Pac-man! Pac-man World back in 1999 was such a blast. the 3D Pac-man and the iconic ghosts were all there, featuring the classic game in 3D and an all new singleplayer adventure across many worlds. It was these sort of games that exploring around was fun, with some challenging but workable levels and an unbelievable story for the Pac family getting abducted and Pac-man being the hero to save the day.

Pac-man is such a lovable character, butt-bouncing his way around and collecting various fruits. There was also metal Pac-man to get the treasures at the bottom of the sea – there was nothing he couldn’t do! Pac-man always had that huge grin on his face even in the face of trouble! He would still eat those balls we’d see in the classics so he always kept his roots in Pac-man world but it’s fair to say the adventure he embarked on was truly fun.

Unfortunately, Pac-man hasn’t appeared on today’s generation of consoles, with many forgetting how loved Pac-man was – well we dedicate Classic #8 so Pac-man can continue to live on.
