Sony set on PSN Exclusives for $20M

Sony confirmed a cash injection of $20M over the next three years to secure exclusive rights to PSN titles in the future – the funds will help develop and thrive first party PSN titles from their studios as well as the pub fund scheme for indie PSN titles from other developers.

Current PSN exclusives over the years have included Joe Danger, Flower, Critter Crunch and the Pixel Junk Series with the plan set to improve the exclusive listings of Sony’s platform offerings and added advantage in value. Pictured above are one of the three confirmed titles to launch as a result of the scheme, titled as Okabu, Eufloria and Papa & Yo.

These titles garnered much attention at this year’s E3 and have reason to believe that these quality PSN titles will bode well for Sony’s campaign to secure intuitive and original projects in the near future. Expect more coverage into these three titles and more PSN Exclusives – because it only does everything more.
