Sony E3 2012 – The Last of Us Makes The Crowd Go Wild

If we had to pick one moment from Sony’s E3 show, most would say The Last of Us stole the show – the crowd definitely went wild. Sony’s released the full gameplay walkthrough from the E3 conference, showcasing the highly detailed environments and even better character models. Ashley Johnson plays Ellie, a 14 year old girl who accompanies, Joel, played by Troy Baker – Ellie’s earlier character model resembled that of Ellen Page who is the lead protagonist in newly announced Beyond: Two Souls.

You’ll find Naughty Dog has done a great job using the same engine that powered their successful Uncharted series, yet the games couldn’t be any further apart. The action is very cinematic though with full gameplay and we even enjoyed the intelligent AI that controls Ellie as she through a brick to distract an enemy – one that the crowd loved. Either way, The Last of Us is definitely the one to watch and we look forward to it’s late 2012 / early 2013 release
