Rumour: Sony and Microsoft To Unveil Next-Gen Consoles at E3
The folks at MCV are letting loose the hype train – according to their ‘third-party sources, Microsoft are looking t unveil their plans for the successor to the Xbox 360 at this year’s E3. Microsoft apparently have tipped third party sources the plan to do so, with no further information developed as to it’s high level of sensitivity.
This isn’t all however as it’s also touted that over at the Playstation camp, Sony are also seizing the opportunity to reveal their next generation console – making for the big three to showcase their new hardware at the same time, at the same venue. If what is said to be true, this will spark greater eye to detail as the consoles will be directly comparable with each other, sparking a new high of intense competition.
We already knew at the end of last month that Nintendo will be bringing Wii U to CES next week and will most likely detail new news at the largest expo event in the US for the gaming industry. This could be THE biggest E3 in history as the companies mark the occassion with prolific announcements – the interesting part will be the disparity in launch dates.
