PSN Charts: The December Digital Sales Shows Diversity

Sony has revealed the digital sales chart on the PSN store in the month of December, splitting the charts between PSN, PS3 and PS Vita titles. The top full game title was Far Cry 3, most notably the most recent title in the list but also since it was part of the 12 Deals of Christmas promotion that made the digital download too good to be true.

Here’s the top ten full game downloads:

1. Far Cry 3
2. Hitman Absolution
3. Guardians of Middle-Earth
4. Need for Speed Most Wanted
5. Just Cause 2
6. Sleeping Dogs
7. Ratchet & Clank: QForce
8. Grand Theft Auto IV
9. LittleBigPlanet Karting
10. One Piece: Pirate Warriors

For the PSN chart, Mass Effect took the top spot after being released on the PSN store, with Journey and the Unfinished Swan bundle taking the 2nd spot. Tokyo Jungle proved to also be a quirky but popular title as did the sales promotion help it to secure third place.

4. The Walking Dead – Season Pass
5. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD
6. Journey

And for the PS Vita, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD finally hit the store for the Vita and it stormed the charts to finish ahead of Assassin’s Creed: Liberation and Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified proved brand still holds power as the game rounded the month off in the top 3.
