New Releases: UFC, Binary Domain, Tekken 3D Prime and more

February 17th, 2012 - This week, Binary Domain, SEGA’s latest FPS android twist, releases on retail shelves. The demo for the game was released earlier this week so if you want a taster check it out on the PSN or XBL store. In addition to that, THQ’s UFC Undisputed 3 also launches whilst Tekken 3D Prime Edition unleashes on Nintendo’s 3DS. Besides that, it’s a quiet week for releases though next week will be a biggie – the PS Vita launch on Wednesday. Check out the full details below:
Binary Domain – an original squad-based shooter by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the creator behind some of SEGA’s most well-known video game franchises, including the critically acclaimed Yakuza series. Binary Domain puts players in the middle of a fast paced and intense battle for humanity in a robot-invaded 2080 Tokyo. Fighting through the derelict lower levels of the city, players control an international peace-keeping squad that soon starts to question their surroundings and the choices they make. Are the robots becoming more human, or are humans becoming more like machines?
UFC Undisputed 3 - The critically acclaimed and best-selling MMA videogame franchise returns to take players inside the Octagon with UFC Undisputed 3, delivering intense UFC action focused on brutal toe-to-toe combat, impressive visual presentation and increased accessibility.
Featuring the addition of PRIDE Mode, a brand new submission system, new ways to finish the fight and increased accessibility through both traditional and simplified gameplay controls, players will experience sheer brutal combat and a pure adrenaline rush every time they step inside the Octagon.
Tekken 3D: Prime Edition – the Nintendo 3DS will see the famous King of Iron Fist Tournament fought in the third-dimension for the first time, with the unique functionality of the Nintendo 3DS delivering a more realistic and dynamic Tekken experience. Players will choose from among more than 40 characters and do battle on totally new stages alongside others redesigned especially for Nintendo 3DS. Tekken 3D: Prime Edition will make the most of the Wi-Fi functionality of the Nintendo 3DS, and deliver fast-paced dynamic battles with impressive graphics running at a high frame rate.
