Is the HD remake of Shenmue on its way to XBLA and PSN?

There are some games that are genuine cult classics and Shenmue is one of these games. Back in the days of the Dreamcast, fans the world over delighted in the Shenmue’s world.

Now it seems that not only is a HD remake of the Dreamcast classic on the way, but it has been made and ready to go for over a year! The news comes following a cheeky tease from SEGA brand manager Ben Harbourne who said in an interview that the next wave of HD Dreamcast titles would include Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia and the already announced Jet Set Radio.

This can be great news for fans of the Japanese action adventure RPG who have battled for a long time to see Shenmue make a return.
