Rockstar have confirmed that the hotly anticipated GTA V has been delayed to September 17th.
Originally due out in the ‘Spring 2013′ window, the latest Grand Theft Auto will release nearly 7 months after its previous target.
Rockstar have not offered an explanation to why the delay has occurred but questions do arise whether the later release date could hint at a next-gen version alongside the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (PC has not been confirmed yet).
Said to feature a world map ”bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV combined.”, GTA V has topped many lists for 2013′s most anticipated game.
In similar news, Insomniac’s Fuse has also been delayed.
