Free DLC Characters Coming to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

It’s only one week until Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is released on both the PS3 and PS Vita. It’s anticipated that the game lends itself to plenty of DLC, primarily in the way of new characters rather than alternate costumes that other fighter games have been loaded with.

And seemingly not too far from when the game releases, Sony will be unleashing 2 new characters into the roster. Already you say? No need to panic, as these characters will be coming FREE. Should have been included in the first place you find yourself hearing? These characters were only worked on after the game hit gold status. Don’t worry no third anticipated question coming.

The 2 characters coming to the franchise are new founded icons – Kat from the Vita exclusive Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from the sequel Starhawk.

“In addition to the signature weapons you’ll remember from his duels with the Outcasts on Dust, Emmett’s play-style will also utilise Starhawk’s unique “Build-in-Battle” system, calling down help from the sky,” explains Seth Killian, Lead Game Designer at Sony’s Santa Monica Studio.

“Kat’s approach turns gravity on its head with some mind-bending new ways to move as she positions herself for her unique brand of aerial assault.”
