Devil May Cry (DmC) Cements A Release Date

Capcom announced today the release date of the upcoming reboot of the series, Devil May Cry (DmC). The reboot will features a younger Dante before he’s grown epic journeys that kickstarted with the original, sporting a refreshed, younger badboy attitude. Combat was always the series’ forte and looks to continue that trade will all new animations, sequences and an infinite combat system. It’ll be over 4 years since the last instalment arrived with Dante and alternate protagonist Nero making the scene back in 2008, developed solely by Capcom. However, this time they’ve got more hands on the project.

Ninja Theory – behind titles such as Heavenly Sword and Ensalved: Odyssey to the West – is collaborating with Capcom to ensure a smooth reboot and one that appeases long-time fans whilst breathing new life for newcomers. They announced the game will be available January 15 & 18 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in NA and EU. A PC version is schedule to release later on in 2013.
